"We can't say enough about the amazing team at Up Norway! From the moment we first contacted them, they were incredibly helpful and professional. We told them our dream was to see the Northern Lights, and they went above and beyond to create the perfect trip for us. We were lucky enough to witness stunning displays of the Aurora in Svolvaer, but there was so much more to our adventure. We explored Tromso, took a breathtaking cruise through the fjords on the Hurtigruten, stayed in historic rorbuer cabins, and went on a private tour of the Lofotr Museum along the scenic coastal road. This was our first family trip abroad, and Up Norway made it an unforgettable experience. We couldn't have asked for a better plan or a more seamless arrangement.

But Up Norway really stands out as the most well-polished, professional company we have dealt with. Whether it was the initial trip planning by their detail-oriented and knowledgeable team, arranging great accommodations and transportation, working out final details, executing the trip, assisting with any issues that might have arisen (very few and weather-related), or assisting with any post-trip details, Up Norway was always there and we were very comfortable in knowing someone was always available for assistance if required. In addition, the App they provided for our phones with all of the trip logistics was over the top, providing easy navigation, superb details for each location, and one-stop administrative details (such as all required tickets) for the trip. This attention to detail and professionalism allowed us to focus on enjoying a wonderful 20-day trip in the beautiful country of Norway. We plan to return and would not hesitate to use Up Norway again. Very highly recommended!

"I have been lucky enough that I’ve been able to travel to Europe many times. I usually scrimp and save for one trip a year. Last year, I decided to go to Norway. Specifically the northern part of that beautiful country. After searching on Google, I found Up Norway. I reached out to them for help booking my travel. I did not expect much, but in return got the trip of a lifetime. Everything was done over email (my choice). I could not have been happier with the result. They asked us questions about what we enjoyed and our expectations for the trip. From there they crafted a custom dream trip. Up Norway, arranged beautiful hotels in every single spot we could only hope to visit on our own. We started in Oslo and they provided us a dinner on our last night in the capital city that educated us and set the tone for the northern Arctic adventure that was coming up next. The dinner was at an Oslo restaurant established by a family from the North (Wither). We learned of the family heritage, got hints of what was to come in the next few days, and sampled their award winning cheeses. From there, Up Norway seamlessly arranged our travel to the Arctic, and once there we enjoy amazing stays in cozy resorts, had epic boating and hiking adventures and feasted on multi-course, locally sourced meals paired with lovely wines. Lofoten is magical, but Up Norway made it so we didn’t have to worry about a thing and truly got to enjoy the adventure of a lifetime. Everything we did was perfectly balanced with local lore, wild adventures, culinary delights and ample relaxation. I cannot recommend Up Norway enough for a turn-key trip that is guaranteed to make you want to do everything exactly the same all over again.
