"My husband, son, and I did a modified version of the Arctic Circle Express Train journey, traveling from Oslo to Aurland to Bergen to Alesund to Andalsnes to Tondheim and back to Oslo. We had an amazing time!! The app made everything seamless. It had a daily itinerary with all hotels and travel tickets included. It was filled with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The dinners that were included were fabulous, and the hotels were all unique and centrally located. We traveled by train, ferry, and overnight cruise ship, and had a great experience on all. The activities that were included (hikes for us) were absolutely fantastic, with personable and knowledgeable guides. I highly recommend using UpNorway for your travel plans and would not hesitate to travel with them again!!

"Five stars for sure! My husband and I were so pleased with the trip that Up Norway put together for us. The fact that we initially were asked to provide a complete, well almost complete, bio on each of us helped to tailor the trip to fit us perfectly. We had never been to Norway and didn’t know much about traveling in the country, so having somebody put together the trip plan was a plus. Also, to have the trip prepaid was an extra bonus. No worrying about dollar conversions or second guessing yourself about paying too little or too much. The accommodations were top notch, and the food was exceptional. Norway is a beautiful, friendly country.

"We used Up Norway for a 10 day trip (train trip) through the country. We had a great trip even with the unexpected landslides making the train now a bus trip. Things we loved - recommendations for doing things we wouldn't have done, the ability to tailor the trip your needs, thoughtful preplanning dinner reservations when in town late, the app with everything need. Things that were so -so the scheduling was hard to follow on the app and we made some adjustments after doing a handwritten time line. Given the advance scheduling one thing available in summer wasn't available in the fall and left us with an afternoon free - important for double checking things on their end. Our hotels were spot on and dinner recommendation/reservations were great. Take an electric boat cruise - they are amazing.

"Up Norway curated a fabulous 4-week trip for us. Three weeks in Norway then time in Copenhagen. With their local knowledge, they booked us into places we had never heard of (like Finse and Hattvika Lodge) that were highlights of our trip. We also had experiences we would never have known about that were wonderful, such as a pre-dinner experience (followed by dinner) with a chef in Oslo; seaweed harvesting ; hiking on the tundra with huskies; and a private tour though an incredible war museum that remain amazing memories. Communication throughout the planning process was perfect and the details including tickets and recommendations were all on a terrific App we used constantly. Changes to things such as trains were communicated during the trip. Totally recommend UpNorway and would happily use them again.
