Spending time with professional intructors are a big part of this trip, and the guides we source are trained to give you maximum experience with minimal impact. While you enjoy our the trills of our winter climate, we set focus on UN SDG 13.3 - 'Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning'.

Touch down in Ålesund
A warm Sunnmøre welcome!
Arrive at the intimate harbourside Hotel Brosundet, which believes in creating experiences to satisfy all of your five senses. Following a devastating fire, the city of Ålesund was rebuilt in 1904 by young Norwegian architects influenced by the popular European art nouveau architecture of the time. Take a tour of the distinctive street buildings – adorned with towers, colourful ornaments and intricate details – before coming back for a five-course dinner at Apotekergata No.5 at Hotel Brosundet.
Apotekergata No.5 is a charming, cosy restaurant situated at the heart of Ålesund. The restaurant serves menus based on seasonal local ingredients, with seafood and elegant wine pairings as a speciality. Observe the fishing boats passing by the windows while you taste your way through the sumptuous menu.

Ski & Sail
If you would like to master summit-to-fjord skiing under the safe guidance of a professional ski instructor, then the next few days are made for you. The jagged peaks of the Sunnmøre Alps are famous for their alpine skiing facilities and amazing fjord views.
Your own private ski instructor will meet you at the hotel and run through equipment and safety measures. Our instructors have several years of experience and know the mountain peaks like the back of their hands, including where to find the best powdery snow! Your route will be adapted to the prevailing local weather conditions, as well as your experience level.
Set sail towards Storfjord in a private boat! You will cruise through the majestic Hjørundfjord and pinpoint the perfect spot for today's skiing adventure. From the Standalshytta cabin you can hike to Fingeren, Kolsåstinden, Seæretindane and ski from the mountaintops – in the right conditions you can get all the way down to the fjord.
After a long day in the fresh air, your cruise winds up near Storfjord Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel situated on a secluded hillside. Here you will find handcrafted log walls, designer furniture and a gorgeous panoramic view of the Storfjord. This is truly an inspirational retreat, where Norwegian tradition meets modern design. Slip into a bathrobe and enjoy a session at Storfjord Spa. Let your taut muscles unwind in the outdoor sauna, with woodland views and a glass of bubbly.

Ready-Set-Let’s Ski!
After a hearty breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and bring you to today's destination. There’s something magical about skiing down a peak that starts 1500 metres above sea level, all the way down to the fjord. Today’s likely destination is in the Stordal/Liabygda area, within a 45-60 minutes drive of Storfjord. From here, popular summits to conquer are Blåtinden, Jolgrøhornet or Ansøkhornet – all commanding spectacular fjord views.
A hot shower and a fireside glass of wine await you at Storfjord. If you like, you can begin tonight's dinner with an aperitif around the campfire by the hotel’s woodland yurt. The kitchen at Storfjord Hotel is renowned for its passion for local food, which is reflected in everything served at the hotel. End the evening with dinner in front of a blazing fire in the lovely restaurant.

Our most frequent travellers are quality conscious leisure travellers who want a meaningful holiday designed for their unique interests and preferences. Among these are couples, families, groups of friends and solo travellers, sometimes even four-legged friends. We cater to travellers with disabilities who we know from experience often have special needs. Many of our travellers are part of the LGBTQI community and we aim to demonstrate why Norway ranks high on equality.
We also cater to small group themed tours, for example foodies travelling with their own guide, and corporate travellers who travel for incentive trips, workations or bleisure purposes.
We recognize that we are going through a time of constantly changing conditions. Through our terms, we try to provide you with all the certainty and adaptability you need when booking your well-deserved escape.
