DAY 1: Tromsø - senja (Finnsnes)

An Introduction to Coastal Life and Culture
After the 1 hr 15 min afternoon transfer with the express ferry from Tromsø, you will be met upon arrival by hosts Trude or Dag. The drive to the lodge is a spectacular experience and includes a stop at the Scenic viewpoint Bergsbotn.

Settle in by the fireplace at the lodge and enjoy the panoramic view of mountains and sea. A traditional meal based on fresh local ingredients will be prepared at the lodge.

DAY 2: Senja nature and wildlife  

Whale or Wildlife Safari & Magical Light
A plan for the day is made depending on weather, but be prepared for an active adventure. You will be taken out by boat to spot large whales, orcas and humpback whales. When whales are not in the fjords, whale watching is replaced by a wildlife safari to see seals, white tailed eagles, moose and reindeer.

You will be taken you to the perfect spots for Arctic and Northern Lights, and receive lectures on whales, the Lights, Arctic cod and the history of Senja.

DAY 3: senja - tromsø

Last day of  Island Adventures
Prepare for yet another day of coastal roaming before the express ferry takes you back to Tromsø in the early evening.
