Itinerary

DAY 1: Oslo – Narvik

Oslo-Narvik by plane

 

 

 

DAY 2: Narvik - Bodø

Coach (6 and a half hours approx.) or coach Narvik - Fauske (5 hours) and then train to Bødo (40 minutes approx with NSB train)

 

 

DAY 3: Bodø

DAY 4: Bodø – Trondheim 

The Nordland Railway runs 729 km. between Bodø and the historic city of Trondheim. This a is an easy and enjoyable way to cross the Arctic Circle, explore Northern Norway and beautiful landscape along the Norwegian coast.

The whole journey takes approximately 10 hours and will take you through stunning landscape passing more than 40 stations, 290 bridges and 150 tunnels.

 

 

DAY 5: Trondheim

DAY 6: Trondheim - Dombås - Åndalsnes

Trondheim - Dombås (2 and a half hours approx. with NSB train)  and Dombås - Åndalsnes (1 and a half hour approx. with NSB/Raumabanen Railway)

 

 

DAY 7: Åndalsnes - Geiranger

(direct coach which takes you through the "Golden Route" with stunning views, waterfalls, dramatic mountains, and one stop to Trollstigen platau)

There are two choices: in the morning (at 08.20 arriving at 11:25) and one in the evening (18:00-20:57 with a bus switch at Eidsdal stop)


 

 

 
 

DAY 8: Geiranger 

Options:
