Our deeply ingrained hiking tradition has given rise to an extensive network of trails and footpaths across the nation, as well as spectacular hideaways created for summer backpackers and winter skiers. Want to meet likeminded people who find true luxury in simple thing? Our hiking itineraries are both self-guided, in a small group led by professional guides, private with a professional guide, or a combination.

Self-guided: we will suggest a trek that’s equal to your abilities, equip you with the info you need to find your way, and even recommend a more luxurious hotel to indulge yourself after days off the beaten track.

Small group with a professional guide: we will search to find one that matches with your desired challenge level and dates.

Greater flexibility with your own personal guide: we will use our extensive network to find a nature guide who can accompany you in the desired area or on your preferred hike.

Norway boasts one of the longest coastlines in the world. According to National Geographic, if you bent its twisting tracery of islets and fjords into a straight line, it would encircle the world two and a half times. A coastal adventure will not only let you discover our majestic seaside landscape, but also lay bare the rugged environment that shaped Norwegians’ long seafaring history. We also have forests. Deep forests full of tales of trolls and wood nymphs, as well as idyllic farms and small village communities dazzled with culture.

Nordic Wonders

‘By 2023 Norway will have spent almost NKr3.5bn ($425m) on picnic spots – 250 of them, along 2000 km of road. They offer far more than the odd bench – they are architectural gems, gravity-defying feats of engineering. They make your feet tingle, your jaw drop, your carsickness worse and the average motorway service station seem a distant enemy.’
Financial Times, 4 Nov 2016.

We would love to help you plan a self-drive of discovery along one or more of these 18 acclaimed Scenic Routes. Navigate easily through valleys, past lakes and across mountains using the Up app, comfortable in the knowledge that we will ensure you stop at the most charming hotels and the best places to eat.

OSLO – BERGEN SELF-DRIVE VIA JOTUNHEIMEN
Explore the land of trolls, spectacular nature and impressive artistry among the mountains and fjords.

A JOURNEY THROUGH ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN & INDUSTRIAL HISTORY
